Welcome to September’s round up!

I hope the new school year has started well for all of you. Can I be honest? I am tired at the end of this week already!!
My podcast at the end of August was all about going back to school; you may still want to listen to it here as I am sure you would find it useful at any time! It now includes a new feature: something which you can listen to with your children, for a couple of minutes, and which teaches them a feature of the French language in what I hope is an unforgettable way!

Next time I contact you it will nearly be half-term… but let’s not wish our lives away, let’s enjoy doing our best to inspire young minds!

The Institut Français is holding a training day for all teachers of French on 6th October 2018. This is now sold out; see you there if you managed to get on!
The NPLS (Northern Primary Languages Show) is back again – once more in York – on Saturday 1st December. The programme is nearly complete and follows the established pattern of plenaries, workshops, exhibition , lunch, refreshments and networking. Booking is open here.
