There’s a lot to be said for making something tangible in the lesson that can be shared with the wider school community. I’m always seeking ways for the language to be in school and the school community even when I’m not. When I make minibooks with the children, we rarely stick them in books. I photograph them and theybtake the real thing home.

Thanks a lot for your comment Clare! I can’t believe it has taken me so long to realise how much of a trick I was missing… The only think I have been sending home is the odd certificate! I was too caught up in “I can’t do crafts” and ” I haven’t got time” when I know and always encourage pupils (and adults!) to have a go and make time! Shame on me… It is changing though!!

How rewarding it must be to leave an impression on your pupils, well done Nathalie. Keep up the great episodes x

Thank you so much for the encouragement Ian! Hopefully we teachers can repeatedly leave great impressions on our pupils!

It will come Philip! This had been recorded and scheduled by the time you pointed it out to me. See you in London in October!
