You will find below resources and links which I recommend to teach about Easter in France.
- There are some great ideas of activities on Lisa Kaler’s Petite Etoile website – click here to access them.
- For a template for an Easter poem in French on Clare Seccombe’s Lightbulb Languages website, click here.
- My favourite cartoon is here: la legende des cloches de Paques ; it shows you how in France we say that the church bells stop ringing on Good Friday, fly to Rome to be blessed by the Pope then come back on Easter Sunday… and drop off lots of chocolate eggs on the way!
- I absolutely love this Easter quiz (answers included). I have had it for so long I cannot remember where I got it from but you will learn something from it for sure!
- For another Easter quiz (a longer one haha) and lots more Easter facts and activities, click here to go to the fab Euroclub Schools website.
- Click here for an easy origami rabbit – I am making this with my pupils to send to our French friends!
- Click here for my blog about 1st April in France (April Fools’ Day, Poisson d’Avril), normally around Easter!
If it is a picture book you are looking for… then click here for my recommendations!
Finally, please click here to receive my new resources (and more) straight in your mailbox!
Merci !
